The writing materials/program was an excellent platform from which to begin learning basic Spanish. The teachers were fantastic and very patient. :-) The trips to "La Boca", Recoleta and the Tango classes were great fun - our tour guide at all times provided me with useful and relevant information and enhanced my experience of Buenos Aires. I´m very sad to be leaving Mundo Español - The classes not only opened the door to a new language, but allowed me to meet fantastic people and create lifelong memories. Buenos Aires siempre! Mit den Lehrern bin ich sehr zufrieden, sie alle waren sehr nett, und ich habe viel bei ihnen gelernt. Der Unterricht hat mir immer Spass gemacht. Auch die Ausflüge in die Stadtteile „La Boca“ und „Recoleta“ waren sehr interessant für mich.

Es un programa excelente. La programación fue siempre buena, siempre haciendo que los estudiantes no se quedasen cansados, lo material es bueno, con ejercicios y textos para practicar el idioma y los maestros son muy amables, siempre se preocupan si estamos bien y si entendemos todo. Las actividades fueron perfectas! Con Mundo Español conocí algunos puntos turísticos que si hubiera ido sola, no sabría. Las clases de tango también fueron divertidas! En fin, gracias por todo, por las indicaciones, por los cafes con galletitas y por cualquier ayuda que me dieron mientras estuve aca. Obrigada!

The program was fantastic. The teachers were friendly and qualified. I particularly liked the rotation system so that I experienced different teaching styles and was exposed to different accents. The other students at Mundo Español were great and the staff helped create a social atmosphere both in school and outside class with several excursions and a tango class. Thank you for everything. I had never studied a language before but you made the experience something I want to continue. It is now a goal of mine to become fluent in Spanish. It may take 10+ years though.

Me inscribí en el programa de traductores y era excelente. Mis profesores personalizaron cada clase y todas las lecturas y los ejercicios para ayudarme e interesarme. He aprendido y leído muchísimo y no tengo ninguna queja. Comunicación excelente entre yo, los administradores (antes y después de llegar) y los profesores! Todo el staff sumamente disponible para ayudar con cualquier cosa, y muy flexible con los horarios. En total, una experiencia invaluable!!!

Aprendi mucho del idioma y de Argentina durante estas 5 semanas. El tiempo pasaba rapidamente durante las clases (4 horas por dia) gracias a actividades varias, interesantes y gracias a los profesores que animaban muy bien los cursos.

As minhas expectativas foram surpreendidas desde o momento que cheguei à escola. Conviver com a cultura, com o idioma e, sobretudo, com a boa acolhida das pessoas do instituto, sempre com um sorriso no rosto, nos incentivando na aprendizagem individual e torcendo para que tivéssemos uma boa estada em Buenos Aires. Foi uma experiência maravilhosa e inesquecível!!!! Desejo ao Instituto Mundo Español muito sucesso no desenvolvimento e realização de intercâmbios cada vez melhores!

I chose Mundo Español because it tailored a program for me that fit my ability and learning style. I am a beginner and learn faster by listening to the language and conversation rather than a lot of writing and translation. Mundo Español gave me a program that included conversation, grammar and Argentinean history/culture. I studied in Cordoba for 7 weeks, attending classes 5 days a week. The schedule put together by my coordinator was perfect for my needs. My classes averaged 4 hours a day with a variety of long and short lessons. I had three teachers, seeing all of them at least three times a week. The lessons were split between conversation, grammar and culture. Class time was well utilized between one-on-one conversation, reading out loud, writing and ‘field trips’ outside the classroom. I enjoyed my nightly homework assignments often sharing them with my host family. Mundo Español’s classroom facilities were excellent. My teachers were patient, and persistent if they needed to be, with helping me learn the language. The classes were enjoyable and I learned a lot.
My Argentinean family was my most memorable experience. Being an older student, I was a little bit reluctant to how well I would fit in. My family warmly welcomed me into their home including me in every family get together and activity. I had Spanish lessons every waking hour, “asados cada fin de semana” and met many wonderful people. The meals were excellent and I got a chance to try many traditional and unique Argentinean dishes. I feel I made many lifetime friends and have already made plans to return to Cordoba and continue my studies.
