Location

Mundo Español is located in the historical neighborhood of San Telmo, one of the oldest areas of the city of Buenos Aires. In the 19th century it was the favorite district of the richest families of the city, and nowadays, ancient houses, restaurants, cafes and tango parlors give this place a very peculiar atmosphere.

Spending a Sunday in and around Plaza Dorrego, the heart of San Telmo, is a ‘must do’ attraction in Buenos Aires. This square attracts both tourists and « porteños » (locals) with its pintoresque open-air antique market, its outdoor tango dancing and other performers. Visitors would enjoy sitting for a coffee or beer outside a classic old cafe, or just aimlessly wander around the interesting chaos.

Mundo Español is just a 10-minute walk away from Plaza de Mayo, Casa Rosada, Florida Street and Puerto Madero. Our school also has a direct access to the main subway and bus lines of the city to take you in less than 20 minutes to other interesting neighborhoods like Recoleta, Retiro, Palermo, etc.
